As the Chester County Planning Commission has advanced through the first phase in developing Landscapes3, we have counted on our stakeholder participants in a variety of ways. Thank you for your attendance at our meetings, discussion of issues and trends impacting the county, participation in our topic specific surveys, and ideas on how to address the priority issues facing Chester County. We are close to wrapping up our stakeholder process, with the second Community Health meeting - and last dedicated stakeholder meeting - scheduled for May 18. We appreciate your input, and value your contribution to this process.
We are now getting ready to shift into the second phase in developing Landscapes3, where we take the information gathered to date and work with a Steering Committee to develop the vision and actions to guide the county in the future. We plan to keep our stakeholder participants informed during this time, and welcome your continued input as we develop the draft vision and actions in the months to come. Materials will continue to be posted to our website: www.chescoplanning.org.
Public engagement has been, and will continue to be, a valued component in developing Landscapes3. We opened our topic specific surveys to the public, conducted a photo contest, and have been attending community events to engage one on one with the public.
At this time we have launched our most significant public outreach element to date - a public survey. The Landscapes3 survey seeks to understand the priorities and preferences of those who live and work in Chester County through a user-friendly, online platform. Please take the survey to share your thoughts, and please share the survey with friends, family, and coworkers, so others are able to tell us their vision for Chester County's future.
